Training programmes
Training programmes for staff designed
to explore Music Making in Early Years
Musical play is a directly engaging activity for
young children. Our courses aim to develop musical repertoire and skills to enable music to be used as a tool to embed learning within an individuals own practice. We understand that there are often pre-conceptions that surround the notion of “teaching music”. The training sessions aim to displace some of these thoughts and for everyone to leave believing that they are able, competent and inspirational teachers, who embrace
and use music throughout the whole day and are able
to facilitate quality music making for children within their setting.
Music for Early Years
Musical workshops for your school or
pre-school setting to follow in line with EYFS.
Our Musical workshops are all about encouraging confidence socially, personally and musically for everyone involved. The musical sessions are primarily fun, playful and inclusive, aimed at developing children musically in the widest sense. The sessions support children’s development in broader areas: in social skills, communication, concentration and language. Placing value on creativity enhances core skills such as numeracy and literacy. Music is used to deliver activity and experiences across all seven areas of learning and development, supporting very young children in reaching the early learning goals. Music is embraced
as a tool to be used throughout the whole day in a
cross-curricular fashion.
